• The film was originally scheduled for release in March 2021, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was postponed to October 2021. It was then postponed again, to February 2022, when Bam Margera sued Paramount Pictures, MTV, and actor Johnny Knoxville, also involved in the project, director Jeff Tremaine, producer Spike Jonze, and others for his unfair dismissal in August 2020, allegedly due to inappropriate behavior and drug use.
• The majority of the film was shot during the coronavirus pandemic, which meant that all members of the film crew and the entire cast had to be tested for COVID-19 every day before filming began, which ultimately increased the cost of filming by a million dollars.
• While filming the bull scene, Johnny Knoxville broke a rib, his wrist, and suffered a concussion, and on top of everything, lost consciousness for a full minute. After everything that happened, some other pre-planned stunts had to be scrapped.
