Short description

What's left behind the scenes

When developing Dewey Cox's performance style, John C. Reilly observed the mannerisms of Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Brian Wilson, and Bob Dylan, and was also inspired by the performances of Jamie Foxx and Joaquin Phoenix, who previously played Ray Charles and Johnny Cash, respectively.
