- The first film in the 'American Pie' franchise that doesn't contain any nudity, which seems rather strange considering the nature of previous installments in the franchise.
- Initially, the producers (Joseph P. Genier, Karen Gorodetsky, Adam Hertz, Abby Lessanu, Chris Moore, Craig Perry, Warren Zide) insisted on including male nudity in the film, and director Mike Elliott even shot one such scene (using a prosthetic penis), but it was cut during editing.
