• The actor who played the strongman, Yuho Ahola, is genuinely physically strong, and, as depicted in the film, he actually had to practice weightlifting.
• The voice of the audience member who constantly interjected with comments right before the main character attempted a lift exceeding 400 kg belongs to the film's director, Werner Herzog.
• Once during filming near a market, an elderly woman with a shopping bag suddenly appeared in the frame.
