What's left behind the scenes
- According to director Albert Serra, nearly 500 hours of footage was shot, including almost 200 hours with dialogue and sound effects. Serra has preferred shooting digitally since the beginning of his film career, so he shoots long scenes with a lot of improvisation using three cameras simultaneously, which means he has to deal with a huge amount of material during post-production.
