Short description
A traumatized veteran who inherits her grandfather’s bar after his untimely death, and is faced with a moral dilemma after discovering the truth behind his death.
What's left behind the scenes
- Filming concluded in New Mexico in October 2021. Post-production took two years, and the film was only released in 2024.
- Josh Olson and John Brancato wrote the original screenplay back in 2016, five years before filming and eight years before the film's release. The script was described as a female-led action film in the vein of Ted Kotcheff’s 'Rambo: First Blood' (1982) mixed with the action of 'John Wick' (Chad Stahelski and David Leitch, 2014). That same year, Thunder Road Films acquired the script, with Basil Ivanik (who produced the 'John Wick' franchise) and Erika Lee slated to produce. In September 2021, the original screenplay was handed over to Halle Wegryn Gross for revision.
