Short description
Eight year old Peter is plagued by a mysterious, constant tapping from inside his bedroom wall—one that his parents insist is all in his imagination. As Peter's fear intensifies, he believes that his parents could be hiding a terrible, dangerous secret and questions their trustworthiness.
What's left behind the scenes
- Despite the film being produced by such heavyweights in modern cinema as Seth Rogen, it was released with virtually no marketing campaign. Regardless, critics and audiences received it well, especially considering that the premiere took place in the middle of summer, almost simultaneously with the premieres of Greta Gerwig's adventure comedy "Barbie" (2023) and Christopher Nolan's biographical drama "Oppenheimer" (2023), and a release closer to Halloween would have better suited the film's overall atmosphere.
- Director Samuel Bodin later said that he specifically wanted to use only practical effects in the creation of the film (effects produced physically, i.e., without the use of computer imagery or other post-production methods).
