The scenes in the mayor’s mansion were filmed at Bloomfield Estate in Villanova, Pennsylvania. On April 4th (less than a month before the film’s release), the garage of the building caught fire. The fire spread and practically destroyed the entire third floor of the main house.
Footage of the Dekalb Ave and Canal St subway stations was filmed at the Cortlandt St station.
The scene exiting the subway was filmed at the intersection of East Broadway and Rutger St.
When Luke takes out his iPhone in the taxi, the time at the top of the screen is 7:55 pm. In the next shot, it abruptly changes to 7:57.
You can see the dead man in the homeless shelter breathing.
Filming took place from October to December 2010.
