What's left behind the scenes
- The scene at the beginning of the film (approximately 4 minutes in) with Christie's loose tooth was not in the original script. "She came to the set in the morning and said she had a loose tooth," one of the directors, Ariel Shulman, later recounted. "We decided to insert this scene into the film."
- Approximately 1 hour and 12 minutes into the film, symbols appear in Grandma Lois's house. They represent a simplified version of the Solomon's pentagram (inverted) and Solomon's triangle, described in the grimoire *The Lesser Key of Solomon* and used to summon and control demons.
