Short description
Georgia and her boyfriend Sam go on a treacherous journey to escape their country, which is caught in an unexpected war with artificial intelligence. Days away from the arrival of their first child, the couple must face No Man’s Land—a stronghold of the android uprising—in hopes of reaching safety before giving birth.
What's left behind the scenes
- While preparing for the role of a future mother, Chloë Grace Moretz consulted with several pregnant women, visited a hospital maternity ward, and even volunteered at a private kindergarten to learn proper childcare.
- The film is partly based on the story of director Mattson Tomlin's biological parents, who were determined to save their child during the Romanian Revolution.
- In the 19th minute, Georgia (Chloë Grace Moretz) listens to the fetal heartbeat, but the heart rate is not as high as that of an adult.
