• The scene with the chair and wheelbarrow was filmed in one take.
• The film is a kind of remake of Robert Zemeckis's adventure comedy 'Romancing the Stone' (1984), and the name of the book tour – 'Romancing the Pages' – was a reference to that film.
• The characters' tiny vehicle is not a car at all, but a quadricycle with a closed body and an engine displacement of 217 cubic centimeters. It's called the Bajaj Qute and is produced by the Indian company Bajaj Auto. Its maximum speed is 70 km/h.
• Brad Pitt (who played Jack) and Sandra Bullock (who played Loretta) have been in the film industry for over 30 years, but they had never starred together before. Bullock only made a cameo appearance in David Leitch's action-comedy 'Bullet Train' (2022) with Pitt in the lead role, after which she became friends with Pitt, and he eventually accepted an invitation to join the cast of the adventure comedy directed by Aaron and Adam Nee.
• Channing Tatum (who played Alan and Dash) later recounted that the scene with nudity, where Sandra Bullock's character peels leeches off him, was filmed on the second day of shooting. Tatum and Bullock barely knew each other at the time. The scene was probably shot after 50 takes because Tatum couldn't deliver his lines without bursting into laughter.
