Short description
Employees at a Bennigan's-like restaurant (called, creatively enough, Shenanigan's), kill time before their real lives get started. But while they wait, they'll have to deal with picky customers who want their steak cooked to order and enthusiastic managers who want to build the perfect wait staff. Luckily, these employees have effective revenge tactics.
What's left behind the scenes
- Dane Cook himself came up with all the lines and the name for his character. None of this was in the script, as he was essentially playing a cameo role, with his character's screen time being only about three minutes.
- Before starting to write the script, director and screenwriter Rob McKittrick worked for three years in a real chain restaurant near downtown Orlando.
