What's left behind the scenes
- Kirill Tushin worked on the film for five years. During filming, interviews were conducted with over 70 people, totaling 180 hours. The filming equipment and materials were stolen twice. The first time in Indonesia, where the final editing took place, and then the edit of the corresponding version was stolen shortly before the Berlin Film Festival. The director was twice subjected to attacks during filming and was forced to change his place of residence, fearing wiretapping.
