What's left behind the scenes
- Upon closer inspection of the audience in the film, it is evident that almost all of them are cardboard cutouts. Dolls and people in costumes make up a tiny minority.
- The filmmakers were unable to obtain blank cartridges for the M60 machine gun, so they used live ammunition in the film.
- Initially, it was planned to film several episodes of a television series, but the project became a full-length feature film only when investors from Japan came forward with the proposal. The script had to be urgently rewritten.
