Short description

What's left behind the scenes

Director and screenwriter Roman Polanski first conceived of making this film in 1999, while staying at the Palace Hotel in Gstaad (Switzerland) on the eve of the New Year, observing the anxieties of other residents about the so-called “Year 2000 problem.”
