What's left behind the scenes
- After the release of the second film, the actors stated they would not participate in a third installment, however, the new script by Adam Herz, the author of the first two films, made some reconsider their decision.
- Filming the bachelor party took almost two weeks.
- Shawn William Scott's agents didn't even want to show the actor the script, so confident were they that he would absolutely refuse to star in a film based on it. As it turned out, they were mistaken, because after reading the script, he immediately agreed to the proposed role.
- The scene where Jim thanks the guys for everything, towards the end of the film, was shot in two locations: in Los Angeles (Finch, Kevin, and Stifler, and the building behind them) and in Half Moon Bay, also in California (Jim and the country club building far behind him).
- In the scene where Michelle hits her head, the actress Alison Hannigan made a knocking sound by hitting her hand, but after 30 takes, her hand began to swell and hurt a lot. They had to give her a rubber mallet, which she used for all subsequent takes.
