What's left behind the scenes
- The film's director had political reasons for partially using the local dialect in the film. The reason is that during the fascist period in Italy, speaking dialects was prohibited.
- The film is based on real stories of remote chapels in the mountains, where images of saints were believed to be able to revive stillborn infants.
- Although the journey took only 4 days, the film features both summer and winter scenes, which is explained by the lockdown imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Filming began in January 2020 and was then interrupted for 8 months. It resumed in winter and finished on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2021.
