- Mia Sara returned to acting for this film. She left cinema in 2013, but after watching the series "Midnight Mass," she promised Mike Flanagan that she would act in one of his projects.
- Filming began in Alabama in 2023 during a labor dispute between the actors' union SAG-AFTRA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP). Filming on this project was permitted under the terms of a special agreement allowing work on independent projects not affiliated with the AMPTP.
