What's left behind the scenes
- The filmmakers were forced to change the spelling of the film's title from “The Sixth Day” to “The 6th Day” to avoid confusion with the previously released film “The Sixth Sense”.
- Arnold Schwarzenegger delivers his iconic phrase, “I’ll be back,” albeit in a slightly modified form, as he leaves the cloned pet store. He says to the shopkeeper, “I might be back,” to which the shopkeeper confidently replies, “You’ll be back.”
- The majority of the film was shot in Canada, in Burnaby, Vancouver, Toronto, and Richmond.
