Short description
When Ann, husband George, and son Georgie arrive at their holiday home they are visited by a pair of polite and seemingly pleasant young men. Armed with deceptively sweet smiles and some golf clubs, they proceed to terrorize and torture the tight-knit clan, giving them until the next day to survive.
What's left behind the scenes
- The film is an autoremake of the eponymous film by Michael Haneke, shot 10 years after the release of the German-language original.
- Tim Roth said that filming this movie had a very distressing effect on him because the actor who played his on-screen son reminded him of his own son.
- The set decorators used the same blueprints of the house that were used to build the sets for Michael Haneke's original 1997 film, which this picture is a remake of.
