What's left behind the scenes
- Director Matthew Vaughn cast Henry Cavill in the role because he needed an actor “born to play James Bond.” Cavill was once one of the finalists in the selection of an actor for the Bond role in Martin Campbell's thriller “Casino Royale” (2006).
- The Scottish Fold cat Alfie was played by Chip, the cat of Claudia Schiffer, who is married to Matthew Vaughn.
- Argyle was named after the limousine driver from the first film in the “Die Hard” franchise (John McTiernan, 1988).
- The name "Clementine" is engraved on the rifle in the character's office as portrayed by Bryan Cranston. This is the name of Matthew Vaughn's daughter.
