The line “You sniff the wind like a spotted deer…”, put into the mouth of Rupert Everett, is a quote from Julian Mitchell’s play “Another Country,” performing a role in which brought Everett fame in the West End in 1981.
The candidacies of Dermot Mulroney and Cameron Diaz for the film were personally selected by Julia Roberts.
