Filming was supposed to begin in 2020, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Filming began in Thailand and Paris in the summer of 2021, however, upon arriving in Thailand, the filmmakers were forced to spend 15 days in quarantine and only begin filming after that. Director, screenwriter, and lead actor Malik Bentalha decided that this was actually for the better, as the actors and crew involved in the film had time to get to know and bond with each other.
Preparing for filming, Malik Bentalha gained 13 kg in weight to better match the image of his character, who had softened after becoming a television star.
