Better watch out! The big guy in red is coming to town once again. This time, Scott Calvin -- also known as Santa Claus -- finds out there's an obscure clause in his contract requiring him to take on a wife. He has to leave the North Pole to fulfill his obligations, or else he'll be forced to give up his Yuletide gig.
What's left behind the scenes
- Each of the tin soldier costumes weighed over 20 kilograms. According to the actors who wore them, moving around in such attire was extremely uncomfortable.
- When Scott captures the Tooth Fairy and calls himself Santa Claus, he hears in response: "I know Santa, he's my friend. And you, sir, are no Santa." This is a parody of the famous phrase uttered by Lloyd Bentsen (1921-2006) during the 1988 televised vice-presidential debate.
