What's left behind the scenes
- Robert Downey Jr. and Marisa Tomei (who played Peter Wright and Faith Corvo, respectively) recreated a scene from William Wyler's melodrama "Roman Holiday" (1953) starring Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn near an ancient marble slab called the "Mouth of Truth." Filming on location was impossible due to a nearby terrorist attack, so the filmmakers had to make the landmark a prop.
- Initially, Bridget Fonda was considered for the role of the main character.
