• The plot is based on real events that occurred on November 13, 2015. Several attacks were carried out in Paris almost simultaneously – explosions near the Stade de France stadium, a massacre at the Bataclan concert hall, and a shooting at several restaurants. 130 people died in Paris that day, and more than 350 were injured. These attacks were the deadliest in French history.
• Alice Vinocur's younger brother, Jeremy, was at the Bataclan on the day of the attacks. He survived, but suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder for a long time.
