Short description
After struggling to start a family, Julie Rivers becomes pregnant and moves into a new home with her husband. She's ordered to mandatory bed rest, and begins seeing ghostly happenings throughout the house.
What's left behind the scenes
- In one scene, Julia, played by Melissa Barrera, reads the book "Impresiones y Paisajes" in bed. The title translates from Spanish as "Impressions and Landscapes"; it is a book about travels by the Spanish poet and playwright Federico García Lorca, published in 1918.
- In the original script’s finale, Julia died from injuries sustained in a fall and later appeared on screen as a ghost (together with the ghost of the deceased baby, they observed her husband, played by Guy Burnet, and their newborn daughter). However, viewers saw a finale in which Julia recovers and moves to a new place of residence with her husband and daughter.
