Short description
A married workaholic, Michael Newman doesn't have time for his wife and children, not if he's to impress his ungrateful boss and earn a well-deserved promotion. So when he meets Morty, a loopy sales clerk, he gets the answer to his prayers: a magical remote that allows him to bypass life's little distractions with increasingly hysterical results.
What's left behind the scenes
- At the very beginning, when the children are trying to steal Twinkies, the box with them is next to Michael's (Adam Sandler) head. When Michael wakes up and sits on the couch, the box disappears, along with the books it was lying on.
- When Michael fast-forwards his life to a picnic in 1976, one of the boys invites the kids to watch the TV series "Three's Company" (1977-1984). However, the first episode of this series will not air until a year later.
- The morning after acquiring the remote. While talking to his wife's friend, Michael scoops up a spoonful of cereal with milk, but from another angle he waves an empty spoon.
- When Michael rewinds his life to a picnic in 1976, one of the boys invites the kids to watch the TV series "Three's Company" (1977-1984). However, the first episode of this series wouldn't air for another year.
