What's left behind the scenes

  • At one point, Leslie Nielsen’s character (1926-2010) was supposed to meet Richard Kimble, played by Harrison Ford (Ford played this character in Andrew Davis’s 1993 thriller “The Fugitive”), in the sewers, but this idea was never realized.
  • Canadian soldiers from a unit stationed in Vancouver, British Columbia, played the role of Scottish soldiers.
  • The names of most of the characters were taken from cities in the state of Minnesota. The screenwriter and director, Pat Proft, is from Minnesota.
  • In the hospital scene, Dr. Benton, Dr. Carter, Dr. Greene, and Dr. Ross are called over the intercom. These are all characters from the TV series "ER" (1994-2009).
