While the Murtaugh family waits for that very commercial, they are watching “Tales from the Crypt” (1989), episode 1.2 “And All Through The House,” which premiered on June 10, 1989, and starred Mary Ellen Trainor, who played Dr. Stephanie Woods. Furthermore, several episodes of “Tales from the Crypt” were produced by Richard Donner, who also directed this film.
The carpenter’s name is McGhee. This is the real name of the actor who played the character (Jack McGhee).
The name of the cologne whose bottle is shattered during the destruction of Riggs’ trailer is “Hero.” The first time we see Riggs entering his RV, you can notice an advertisement for this cologne playing on the television.
