- According to Chris Kattan, after completing work on this film, Will Ferrell stopped talking to him and remained silent until the 23rd season of Saturday Night Live, because during filming, Kattan had an affair with Emmy Heckerling, a producer, and Ferrell didn't like it. Working on this film ended their friendship, which had begun back in their days with the comedy group The Groundlings.
