Grocery store clerk Simon occasionally sells drugs from his cash register at work, so when soap opera actors Adam and Zack come looking for Ecstasy on a quiet Christmas Eve, they are surprised to find Ronna covering his shift. Desperate for money, Ronna decides to become an impromptu drug dealer, unaware that Adam and Zack are secretly working for obsessed narcotics officer Burke.

- The English title of the film, Go, is one of the slang terms for methamphetamine (“whizz”).
- The cop drives Zack and Adam in a car with license plate 2GAT123 – a fictional Hollywood license plate that appears in many films.
- While Ronna (Sarah Polley) chats with a drug dealer, the Santa Claus hat shifts position from different angles.
- When the dealer discovers the swapped 'wheels,' the items on the table change position with each cut.
- While in the trunk, Simon lights himself with a lighter, but the light, of course, doesn't come from it. This is especially noticeable when he extinguishes the flame (the light turns off later).
- When Ronna exits the store at the very beginning of the film, she switches the jacket to her right hand, but in the next shot, the jacket is in her left hand.
