What's left behind the scenes
- The original title of the film was “South Park: All Hell Breaks Loose,” but the American Association of Film opposed the use of the word “hell” in the title. The title was changed to a more innocuous, yet ambiguous, one.
- The entire process of creating the film took about a year.
- No scenes were cut from the film.
- As in the series, aliens can often be noticed in the film in detail or in the background. Here they are depicted on most banknotes; Cartman also has a picture of an alien in his room, and an alien can be seen in the crowd at the end of the film.
- A portrait of actor Skeet Ulrich hangs above the beds of Satan and Saddam.
- The end credits state that Saddam Hussein voiced himself.
- Winona Ryder voiced Tzipporah 'Taffy' Walters.
- Before the episode where Kyle hides Ike in the attic, a squad of soldiers marches past his house, with Jesus marching among them.
