Autumn and the Black Jaguar

A young girl spends her early years in the Amazon rainforest, where she forms a deep bond with a jaguar cub named Hope. Following a tragic event, she is forced to leave her home and move to New York City. Years later, after adapting to urban life, she discovers that animal traffickers are threatening her childhood village and the safety of her old friend. She decides to return to the jungle to protect the wildlife and rescue the jaguar.

This French adventure film was directed by Gilles de Maistre, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Prune de Maistre. It is the third film in a series of works by the director, following Mia and the White Lion and The Wolf and the Lion. The movie stars Lumi Pollack as Autumn Edison and Emily Bett Rickards as Anja, with supporting roles played by Wayne Charles Baker, Paul Greene, Kelly Hope Taylor, and Lucrezua Pini.

The production earned 22 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception is mixed to positive, with a rating of 5.7/10 on IMDb based on 1,300 votes and a higher score of 6.6/10 on TMDB from 185 votes.
