- When Matty is sitting on the bus right before the professor tries to attack her, a bearded student extra is visible behind her. This extra appears on screen three times – first in the schoolyard, then on the bus, and finally in the laboratory.
- The trailer includes footage from the original Japanese film 'Pulse' (Kiyoshi Kurosawa, 2001). One of the shots shows a plane crash.
