What's left behind the scenes
- The night sky, clouds, and lightning were created using an aquarium with condensed milk, paying homage to Douglas Trumbull, the visual effects artist for "2001: A Space Odyssey" and "Blade Runner".
- Rotting fruit for one of the film's scenes was filmed over a period of 4 months.
