Short description
After her widowed father dies, deaf teenager Dot moves in with her godparents, Olivia and Paul Deer. The Deers' daughter, Nina, is openly hostile to Dot, but that does not prevent her from telling her secrets to her silent stepsister, including the fact that she wants to kill her lecherous father.
What's left behind the scenes
- During the dialogue between Nina and her father, when she announces her pregnancy, the photograph of Nina and her friend Michelle behind her father changes position. Initially, the photograph hangs on all the nails, and after a change of frame, only on one – the lower one.
