“Miro,” the name of the mole, means “bad eyesight” in French, which is a reference to the poor eyesight of moles.
One of the songs playing during the fight in the underground club was featured in Quentin Tarantino's film "Pulp Fiction" (1994). The Princess performs Uma Thurman's dance from the same episode of "Pulp Fiction".
The sacred sword, which no one (not even the princess) can pull from the stone, as only the chosen one is capable of doing so, is a tribute and reference to the legend of King Arthur and the sword in the stone. Arthur (who is also the name of the main character) becomes king only by pulling the sword from the stone.
