Born in Morelia, Michoacán in 1994, he studied film at Arte7 - School of Film and stage directing at Casazul School of Performing and Audiovisual Arts, both in Mexico City. In 2017, during the Mexico-Germany dual year, he participated in a filmmaking workshop led by Angela Schanelec and Helena Wittmann from the Hamburg Academy of Fine Arts (Hochschule für bildende Kunst Hamburg HFBK).

As a director, his short films "Piedras al río" and "Superhéroes" were part of the official selection at the Morelia International Film Festival. "Tiene que haber algo mejor" was selected for festivals such as MIRA (Latin American Independent Film Festival) in Bonn, Germany, ASFF Film Festival in Rome, Italy, Youki International Youth Media Festival in Wels, Austria, and the Oaxaca Film Festival in Mexico. "Abrir las puertas" and "A veces sueño," the latter co-directed with Ofelia R. Botello, were included in the official program of the 24 Risitas per Second festival.

In the field of radio, he directed the first Spanish translations of the works "An Experiment in Science Fiction," "Toda de blanco," "Iphigenia in Tauris" by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, "The Family Council," and "Pre paradise, sorry now," written by Rainer Werner Fassbinder for the Fassbinder Radio cycle by Radio Educación and the Goethe-Institut Mexiko.

In addition to working as an assistant director on short and feature films, he has additionally worked as a casting director in various productions. These include the short films "La Oscuridad," "In Freedom" by Jorge Sistos Moreno, and "Al borde del volcán" by Jorge Granados Ross, as well as the feature films "El Conserje" by Mauro Mueller and David Figueroa, "Violentas Mariposas" by Adolfo Dávila, "Margarethe no quiere que la vean bailar" by Gabriel Herrera Torres, and "La inquietud del bosque" by Joaquín del Paso.
