Alfredo Torres is a Costa Rican documentary filmmaker whose work focuses on themes of migration, LGBTQIA+ rights, and environmental issues. His debut short documentary, Jardines, premiered at the Telluride Film Festival. Torres holds a master's degree in Journalism from UC Berkeley, where he was awarded the Marlon T.
