Masakazu Hishida (菱田正和, Hishida Masakazu, born October 21, 1972) is a Japanese anime director and lyricist born in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. He is a member of the Japan Animation Creators Association (JAniCA). He also works under the aliases of Jo Aoba (青葉譲, Aoba Jō), Hippocampus (日歩冠星, Hippokanposu) and Sakura Gojo (五城桜, Gojō Sakura).
