Espen Aukan is a trained screenwriter from the Norwegian Film School in Lillehammer and has a bachelor's degree in drama/theatre and film studies from NTNU. He made his debut as a playwright with Snehvit at Brageteatret in 2009, for which he was also nominated for the national Ibsen prize.
