In 2002, as a student of Computer Science at the National Polytechnic Institute, in order to obtain a scholarship for academic excellence, he enrolled in the Institute's Theater workshop. The experience was so attractive that, after 18 months, he entered the Escuela Nacional de Arte Teatral, quitting his previous academic studies.
