Her mother took her on a missionary flight there and she saw a statue of the Mother Mary with what looked like red blood coming down her eyes and her prayer hands red as well at a church. This impacted her at a deep level when she was at the disaster site. Doing most of her time there, she decided to make the most out of the disaster and camp out on the street to make sure that people could find their workers that were offering help. At such a young age, she changed her life. At nineteen, she wrote a screenplay and directed a short called "The Perfectionest".
