Destian Rendra is an Indonesian film director and screenwriter, born in Batu City on 1993. His shorts film, A Closed Mouth Catches No Flies get Official Selection Balinale International Film Festival 2021 and won Gary L. Hayes Awards in Balinale. Also was nominated for Seashort Film Festival 2020. In 2023, he completed feature film scenario incubation program titled Indonesiana Film. Then in 2024, he received film funding from Layar Indonesiana & the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture to complete his film project titled Bong, which will be screened at the Jogja Asian Netpac Film Festival in 2024.
