Deni Martha Lopez (b. Guadalajara, Mexico) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work spans animation, live-action film, and transdisciplinary media, exploring themes of nature, community, and the intersection of imagination with reality through poetic visuals and documentary techniques. She earned her BA in Audiovisual Arts from the Universidad de Guadalajara and an MFA in Experimental Animation from the California Institute of the Arts. Her pieces have been showcased at international festivals, galleries and digital platforms. A member of Women In Animation, Brown Girls Doc Mafia, and Women In Film, Deni continues to engage with and contribute to diverse creative communities.
