Romi Robinson is a filmmaker from Goulds, Newfoundland and Labrador. She was among the first class of College of the North Atlantic's Film and Television programs, which began in September 2022. Her short "Egg" was selected for inclusion in the 2023 Markham International Film Festival just out of Toronto, where it received an Honorable Mention trophy for Best Student Short, and she also created the short "Interview" for the 2023 Easterseals Disability Film Challenge. In 2021, Romi was the only Newfoundlander to take part in the virtual PEI Screenwriters Bootcamp where she developed her feature screenplay I'm OK. Romi has additionally appeared as a background performer on the series "Astrid and Lilly Save the World" (Syfy), "Hudson and Rex" (City) and "Son of a Critch" (CBC/The CW).© ACMODASI, 2010- 2024
