Short description
Hardened criminal Maggie Hayward's consistent violence, even in police custody, ends in the execution chamber. However, top-secret US government agent 'Bob' arranges a staged death, so Maggie can be elaborately trained as a phantom killer and subdued into obedience.
What's left behind the scenes
- The film's director, John Badham, appeared in a cameo role as a hotel janitor.
- The film was shot in chronological order. Director John Badham decided this would make it easier for Bridget Fonda to portray the development of her character.
- In the scene in the hospital room, when the main character is shown from behind, her bandaged leg is bent and her knee is approximately at shoulder level. When the character is shown from the front, the leg lies almost flat on the bed.
