What's left behind the scenes
- A literal translation of the film's title is "Furious".
- The name of Robert Towne, one of the screenplay's co-authors, was not included in the credits.
- The voice of the man in the tweed jacket questioning Michelle in her apartment belongs to Roman Polanski.
- Under pressure from the studio, Roman Polanski was forced to cut 15 minutes of screen time from the original version of the film and completely reshoot the ending.
- After reviewing the footage, Harrison Ford suggested Polanski change the title of the film to 'Mildly Excited'. Roman did not appreciate the joke.
