Short description

A brain surgeon marries a femme fatale, causing his life to turn upside down. Things go more awry when he falls in love with a talking brain.

What's left behind the scenes

"Brain on the Spikes" (1983) is a parody of the film "Donovan's Brain" (1953), which in turn was based on the novel of the same name by Curt Siodmak.
Most of the scenes, according to the plot, take place in Vienna, but the license plates on all the cars have the Graz registration code "G" instead of "W".
There is an error in the credits: the actress Stepfanie Kramer's name is written as Stephanie.
'Brainstorm' (1983) is a parody of 'Donovan's Brain' (1953), which was itself based on the novel of the same name by Curt Siodmak.
